For beginning students or those that want to get back to basics. This class takes you through the basic principles of the following classifications of yoga poses: standing, seated, twists, forward bends, and back bends. Clear instruction, modification, and safety are stressed in this class. Expect to be challenged and have fun while exploring yoga asanas (poses).
This class is appropriate for those new to yoga as well as more experienced students. We'll spend 90 minutes learning the basics of yoga asanas with the option of moving into more intermediate variations. While this class can be intense for newer students, plenty of detailed instructions and modifications will be offered and encouraged for those who need it.
This class is a blend between restorative yoga asana, philosophy, pranayama (yogic breathing), and dhyana (seated meditation). Expect some light stretching and lots of breathing as you bring your mind and body into a state of relaxation, ease, and inner peace. All levels welcome!
